LÒ BÁNH BÊ
One oven, two bakers, and whatever is baked is what there is. We do not reheat yesterday's loaves, so late really does mean sold out — the day's schedule is right below.
Bread twice a day, six in the morning and four in the afternoon. Pastries are a single batch and usually gone before noon.
Eighteen-hour ferment, sliced at the counter if you like
French butter, laminated by hand, morning batch only
64% dark chocolate, restrained on the icing
Da Lat lemons, made the same morning
The shop opened in 2018 in a narrow tube house and still runs on one oven. Dough is left overnight, butter arrives in small drums, and nothing comes from a pre-mix. Which is why there is never very much, and why it goes early.
Cakes need two days' notice; bread only needs the day before. We message back to confirm and hold the order until closing on the day you name.
